Story Worldwide Acquires Influencer Shop VonShine Industries

Story Worldwide has acquired VonShine Industries to bolster the brand agency’s influencer marketing and social media expertise. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, the VonShine name will be retired and will operate under Story Worldwide. VonShine’s founder Josh VonScheiner will become Chief Experience Officer of Story Worldwide, co-managing the operations along with CEO Simon Kelly.

VonShine was attracted to the opportunity to control a cohesive brand story. “We are the shepherds of the brand narrative, wherever and however it reaches the consumer, from traditional ads through influential third party voices,” says VonScheiner. “The reality is that it takes a lot of content reaching the consumer from myriad angles to drive action.” 

One new service to launch post-acquisition will be StoryScore2.0, a measurement tool to track the creative impact of content in market. The agency said it would release more details soon.
