Austin-based ad agency GSD&M and LA-based digital agency Wildlife are lending their support to help animals from the Australian wildfires.
The two agencies partnered to create a microsite that encourages people to donate to support WIRES, Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organization. The website opens with the message the Internet shouldn’t be the last place people see Australian wildlife. Up to 30% of the country’s koala population has died during the crisis, according to news reports.
The site’s final image displays a clock countdown telling visitors not to wait to donate to the non-profit and providing a link to do so. The website is linked with social media, including Twitter and Facebook, to easily enable visitors to raise awareness about the mission.
